Emma is one half of the Business Services Team and has worked at MPI for 8 years. Emma supports one of the Directors to ensure smooth diary management, overseeing project timelines and costs, interacting with clients, scheduling of any courses and working closely with the Head of Business Services, Carolyn to provide administrative support to the team and our clients.
Emma started her working life back in 1987 working at an Engineering company as a YTS. She stayed with that company until 1997 which started her career in Secretarial roles. Emma moved on to work at a Pharmaceutical company for the next 14 years. During her time at AstraZeneca she worked her way up from Secretary to a busy IT department to holding the post of PA to the Site Manager until the site unfortunately closed and Emma had to move on. The latter role gave Emma the skills she uses in her current role; organisational skills, working on own initiative to make decisions in absence of manager/colleagues, excellent communication skills with a wide range of team members and groups at all levels, internally, externally and in different locations globally. These ‘people’ interactions have held her in good stead for her role at MPI Ltd.
Outside of work Emma is married to Tim and has a Son, Sam. She also has two dogs and enjoys going for longs walks with them (and her Husband!) She also tries to keep fit by visiting the Gym (pre-Covid) and doing on-line Pilates and Yoga classes. Other passions include, cooking, retail therapy and spending happy times with friends!
