Mike Smith

Mike has more than 30 years of Learning and Development management experience, working in disciplines such as International Transportation, IT, Leadership, Sales and Language training.
He has worked extensively in global roles supporting clients and partners throughout Asia Pacific, EMEA and the Americas and is a Fellow of the Learning & Performance Institute.
My Background
Mike spent 10 years in the rail industry in the early part of his career and ultimately worked on the Channel Tunnel project pre and post launch, as the International Retail manager for Eurostar.
He went on to launch a number of training businesses and spent 13 years running the International business of New Horizons Worldwide, and IT, Processes and Soft Skills training provider. Mike has a passion for supporting client initiatives and firmly believes in the power of learning as a key component of personal and orginisational development. He has consulting experience across many business sectors and diverse international markets and is able to bring all that rich experience into play to support MPI clients in achieving the goals and objectives.
