My Background

Director of Learning & Development
• Internal coach & mentor to leaders across the business – as part of talent management strategy
• Design & delivery of senior leadership development programme to 300 senior managers across the Group; generating a cost benefit of circa £400k
• Alongside a cost-saving initiative; designed & delivered a continuation of the (above) programme to first line managers – following outstanding positive feedback across the organisation
• Led the introduction & facilitation of Rapid Results methodology* into the Saga Group
• Designed & led new graduate management programme for Saga Group
• Led a cross functional team of 35, to provide L&D support & development to 4,000 colleagues
• Delivered YOY (L&D dept.) cost savings; reducing operational costs by £700k – year 1 / £500k – year 2
• Responsible for strategy for implementation & use of group apprenticeship levy
• Bespoke internal consultancy to drive team performance & cohesiveness
• Internal consultancy to design & deliver / drive sales performance in subsidiary travel company
• Set strategy for L&D support to major systems implementations in Insurance & Travel divisions
