Peter has been in the world of Learning & Development for over 20 years, the last 10 of which have been as a Freelance Training Consultant.
As well as being CIPD qualified, Peter is accredited in Situational Leadership II, is NLP qualified, and has experience with the Insights and DiSC psychometrics as well as Social Styles.
After 10 years working in managerial and customer facing roles in Financial Services, Peter discovered an interest in training branch staff in products and lead generation. This led to applying for an opening in the national training team, and the interest turned into a passion. Peter is a passionate and dynamic designer and facilitator who incorporates fun, challenge, and practical application to create a stimulating environment for learning.
He has great experience in Management and Sales training and has designed and delivered many programmes for new to role Managers/Salespeople right up to Senior Leadership/Sales teams. His biggest passion is people and how they respond when they interact with others who are different to them. Using the principles of Emotional Intelligence, Peter has designed and delivered a number of programmes looking at enhancing personal impact in these situations.
Peter has worked with a number of leading organisations across a variety of sectors including Retail Financial Services, Investment Banking, Insurance, Non-Profit, Marketing and Telecommunications. He has trained extensively throughout the UK and Europe, as well as the United States, the Middle East, Asia, and Central America.
